Production
The 2021 hit album Pushpa, The Rise was meant to be only the start. Filming had even begun on the sequel, which was originally intended to be the first of two parts of the plot. However, Sukumar, the director, pulled a fast one. In an effort to address criticism from the public and improve the sequel, he made the decision to completely rework the narrative. Due to this daring decision, the filming was delayed; nonetheless, in August 2022, Pushpa 2: The Rule was officially unveiled, allowing fans to finally get excited for Pushpa Raj's next chapter in his narrative.
Filming
Filming for Pushpa 2, The Rule started in October 2022 and went on until October 2023. They filmed scenes at Ramoji Film City, woodland sequences in Odisha, and action scenes in Visakhapatnam. Regretfully, there were considerable delays due to Allu Arjun's health problems and a crew bus mishap. However, filming ended in March 2024, preparing Pushpa 2 for its highly anticipated premiere.

With lyrics by Chandrabose and music by Devi Sri Prasad, Pushpa 2: The Rule is almost ready for release. T-Series is the soundtrack provider.
Marketing
On Allu Arjun's birthday in April 2023, they unveiled a first-look poster and video to generate buzz. The teaser was revealed a year later on his next birthday in April 2024!
Release
The big screen will finally welcome Pushpa Raj back on August 15, 2024, which is also India's Independence Day. Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Bengali, and Malayalam will all see the release of the film. You may see it on the Star Maa satellite channel or stream it on Netflix after its theatrical run.
