π§ Plot Summary
Set in a time before temples and rituals, the film traces the story of Thinnadu, a tribal hunter with no knowledge of worship practices. One day, he discovers a Shiva Lingam in the forest and begins to worship with raw sincerity, offering meat, water from his mouth, and leaves.
His rituals are unorthodox, but Lord Shiva accepts them because of their purity.
When the Lingam starts to bleed from one eye, Thinnadu, without hesitation, plucks out his eye and offers it. As the second eye begins to bleed, he prepares to sacrifice his last eye by placing one foot on the idol, so he won’t lose aim. At this moment, Lord Shiva appears, halts him, and blesses him with eternal divinity.
