Ajay Jadav Mandal is an Indian cricketer known for his all-round capabilities. Born on February 25, 1996, in Durg, Madhya Pradesh, he bats left-handed and bowls slow left-arm orthodox spin. Standing at 6 feet 3 inches tall, Mandal has been a significant contributor to Chhattisgarh’s domestic cricket success.

Domestic Career

Mandal made his first-class debut for Chhattisgarh in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy on October 6, 2016, against Tripura, where he took seven wickets in the match. He made his Twenty20 debut on January 29, 2017, and his List A debut on September 30, 2018. One of his notable performances includes an unbeaten 241 runs against Uttarakhand in the 2019–20 Ranji Trophy, batting at number 8. He is also the first bowler from Chhattisgarh to take 100 wickets in the Ranji Trophy.

IPL Career

In the Indian Premier League (IPL), Mandal was acquired by Chennai Super Kings in 2023 but did not feature in any matches. He was later picked by Delhi Capitals in 2025.
