Early Life and Domestic Career

Ashutosh began his cricket journey at the Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association’s residential academy in Indore. He made his T20 debut for Madhya Pradesh in the 2017–18 Zonal T20 League and his List A debut in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In 2023, while playing for Railways, he scored a 12-ball 53 against Arunachal Pradesh in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, breaking Yuvraj Singh’s record for the fastest T20 fifty by an Indian.

IPL Career

Ashutosh was signed by Punjab Kings for the 2024 IPL season, where he scored 189 runs in 11 matches at a strike rate of 167.25. In 2025, he was acquired by Delhi Capitals for ₹3.8 crore. In his debut match for Delhi Capitals, he scored an unbeaten 66 off 31 balls, helping his team chase a target of 210.
