Domestic Career:

Yash made his debut for Uttar Pradesh in domestic cricket in 2018, featuring in the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Ranji Trophy. His standout performances in domestic competitions, particularly in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2022, where he was among the top wicket-takers, earned him widespread recognition. Yash’s excellent bowling in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy also helped him secure his place in the IPL.

IPL Career:

Yash Dayal was bought by the Gujarat Titans for ₹3.2 crore in the 2022 IPL mega-auction. His debut season was impressive, where he played a crucial role in Gujarat’s IPL title win. He took 11 wickets in 9 matches in his debut season, showcasing his potential as a strong performer in the T20 format.

In 2023, he had a tough outing against Kolkata Knight Riders, where he struggled in the final over, but his overall performance in the IPL has been commendable. Ahead of the 2024 IPL season, Yash was bought by the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) for ₹5 crore, and he continued to impress, helping RCB to secure a playoff spot.
