Abhay Verma is an Indian actor who works in Hindi cinema. He was born on 27 July 1998 in Panipat, Haryana, and completed his schooling at St. Mary’s Convent School. He took up science, failed three times, then enrolled in a BBA course before concluding it was not for him, and moved to Mumbai with his parents to pursue acting. His brother, Abhishek, is also an actor.
Verma began with the series Marzi and an appearance in Little Things, alongside television commercials. He has spoken about his time as a junior artist on the set of Super 30 (2019), earning ₹800 a day, as the point at which he resolved to aim higher in cinema. Recognition came from the second season of The Family Man (2021), in which he played Kalyan opposite Manoj Bajpayee.
He made his film debut in Safed (2023), playing a transgender character in his first lead role, and appeared in the biographical drama Ae Watan Mere Watan (2024). His breakthrough was the comedy horror Munjya (2024), the fourth film in the Maddock horror-comedy universe, in which he played Bittu; it became the eighth highest-grossing Hindi film of the year.
