Abhishek Pathak Biography
Abhishek Pathak, born on 1 July 1987, is an Indian film producer, director and screenwriter who works in Hindi cinema. He is the son of the producer Kumar Mangat Pathak and has made most of his films under his father’s production company, Panorama Studios. He did his schooling at Mithibai College in Mumbai and studied filmmaking at the New York Film Academy.
He began as a producer in 2011 with Pyaar Ka Punchnama, and went on to back Aatma (2013), Pyaar Ka Punchnama 2 (2015), Drishyam (2015), Guest in London (2017), Raid (2018), Section 375 (2019), Khuda Haafiz (2020), Shaitaan (2024) and Raid 2 (2025), among others.
Pathak made his directorial debut in 2019 with the comedy Ujda Chaman, which he also produced. In 2022 he directed, produced and co-wrote Drishyam 2, which won the IIFA Award for Best Film and brought him a nomination for Best Story (Adapted), shared with Aamil Keeyan Khan. He is attached to the Hindi Drishyam 3 as producer, director and writer. He married the actress Shivaleeka Oberoi in February 2023, and their daughter Aarika was born on 19 April 2026.
