Kayadu Lohar Biography

Kayadu Lohar (born 11 April 2000) is an Indian actress and model who appears in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Marathi films. She made her acting debut in the Kannada film Mugilpete (2021) and achieved her breakthrough with the Tamil film Dragon (2025).

She hails from Tezpur in Assam and has been living in Pune, Maharashtra. She is the daughter of Mohanlal Lohar and Sunita. She was educated at St. Francis De Sales School in Pune, later studied at Don Bosco College in Pune, and took a bachelor’s degree in commerce from Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Lohar started out with a jewellery pageant contest and went on to win the Times of India’s Everyuth Fresh Face Season 12. She was still taking part in the Times Fresh Face competition when she was cast in Mugilpete. Her first Malayalam film, Pathonpatham Noottandu, in which she played Nangeli, was released in September 2022, followed by her Telugu debut Alluri the same year, her Marathi debut I Prem U (2023) and her first Tamil film Dragon (2025). Her 2026 releases include Funky in Telugu, Pallichattambi in Malayalam and Idhayam Murali in Tamil, and she has been reported as the lead opposite Silambarasan in a film tentatively titled STR 49, directed by Ramkumar Balakrishnan.
