Naslen K. Gafoor Biography

Naslen K. Gafoor (born 11 June 2000), known mononymously as Naslen, is an Indian actor who works in Malayalam cinema. He was born in Kodungallur in the Thrissur district of Kerala, studied at St. Joseph’s School in Mathilakam and completed his higher secondary education there. He later enrolled in a B.Tech. course but left after two years to pursue acting.

He appeared as an uncredited background artist in Madhura Raja (2019) before landing his first credited role as Melvin Mathew in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal (2019), a performance whose comic timing brought him immediate recognition. He followed it with Kuruthi and Home (both 2021), Super Sharanya and Jo and Jo (both 2022), and in 2023 took his first solo lead role as Akhil in Journey of Love 18+, one of six releases that year.

His breakthrough came in 2024 with Girish A. D.’s Premalu, in which he played Sachin Santhosh; the film grossed around ₹136 crore worldwide. In 2025 he starred as a boxer in Alappuzha Gymkhana, which grossed over ₹50 crore, and played the male lead opposite Kalyani Priyadarshan in the superhero film Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra, which became the highest-grossing Malayalam film of all time with over ₹300 crore. His most recent release is Mollywood Times (5 June 2026); he is also attached to Tiki Taka and to a Tamil-language debut opposite Suriya.
