Nidhhi Agerwal Biography

Nidhhi Agerwal is an Indian actress who works primarily in Telugu and Tamil cinema. She was born in Hyderabad into a Hindi-speaking Marwari family and was brought up in Bengaluru; her birth year has been reported inconsistently as 1992 or 1993, and no confirmed date of birth is on record. She went to school at Vidyashilp Academy in Bengaluru, graduated in business management from Christ University, and is trained in ballet. Besides Hindi and English she understands and speaks Telugu, Tamil and Kannada.

Agerwal was a finalist at Yamaha Fascino Miss Diva 2014 before director Sabbir Khan chose her from around 300 candidates to play the lead opposite Tiger Shroff in Munna Michael (2017). The film met a mixed-to-negative reception, but the role won her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. Her Telugu debut, Savyasachi (2018) with Naga Chaitanya, underperformed commercially yet brought a SIIMA nomination for Best Female Debut – Telugu.

Her biggest commercial success came with iSmart Shankar (2019) opposite Ram Pothineni, which ran for more than 100 days. She made her Tamil debut in Eeswaran (2021) with Silambarasan and was well received in Kalaga Thalaivan (2022). She played Panchami in Hari Hara Veera Mallu, released in July 2025, and appeared as Bessy in The RajaSaab, which opened worldwide on 9 January 2026. During a song launch for that film at Lulu Mall in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, in December 2025, she was mobbed by a crowd, and police registered a suo motu case against the mall management and the event organisers.
