Pataudi Title

Saif Ali Khan – Recent Activity

1. Stabbing at his Mumbai home (January 2025)

• On 16 January 2025, Khan was stabbed multiple times during an attempted robbery inside his Mumbai residence and was admitted to Lilavati Hospital.
• He sustained major injuries to his neck, back and waist. Surgeons carried out a neurosurgical procedure after a piece of the knife was found lodged near his spinal cord, causing a spinal-fluid leak.
• Hospital representatives said he was stable after surgery, and he was discharged five days later.
• Mumbai Police identified and arrested a suspect using CCTV footage. The case is before the courts and has not concluded.

2. Recent releases

• Devara: Part 1 (2024), the Telugu action film starring N. T. Rama Rao Jr., in which Khan played the antagonist. It is the highest-grossing release of his career.
• Jewel Thief – The Heist Begins (2025), a Netflix action thriller with Jaideep Ahlawat and Nikita Dutta.
• Kartavya (2026), a Netflix film in which he plays Pawan Malik.

3. Completed and awaiting release

• Haiwaan, directed by Priyadarshan and co-starring Akshay Kumar — their first film together in 17 years. Filming is complete.
• Hum Hindustani, also complete; a release date has not been announced.
