Sangeeth Shobhan Biography

Chittajalu Sangeeth Sobhan is an Indian actor who works in Telugu cinema. He was born in Hyderabad to the Telugu film director Sobhan, and comes from a film family: his uncle Chittajalu Lakshmipati was a comedian in Telugu films, and his elder brother Santosh Sobhan is also an actor. Their father died in January 2008.

Sangeeth first appeared on screen as a child actor, in Thakita Thakita (2010) and Golconda High School (2011). He returned as an adult performer through streaming, appearing in the Netflix anthology Pitta Kathalu and the Aha series The Baker and The Beauty and 3 Roses, all in 2021.

His breakthrough came in 2023 with the campus comedy Mad, in which he played Damodhar as one of three leads. The role won him the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South and the SIIMA Award for Best Male Debut – Telugu. He reprised the character in Mad Square (2025) and played Veerababu in the fantasy film Raakaasa, released on 3 April 2026.
