Sneha Wagh Biography

Sneha Wagh, born 4 October 1987 in Kalyan, Maharashtra, is an Indian actress who works mainly in Hindi and Marathi television. She began performing in Marathi theatre at the age of thirteen. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree and completed a filmmaking course at the London Film Academy; she also works as a film director.

Her first television role was Arpita Deodhar in Zee Marathi’s Adhuri Ek Kahani (2007–2008), and she went on to play the lead in the Marathi serial Kaata Rute Kunala (2007–2009). She made her Hindi television debut in the title role of Imagine TV’s Jyoti (2009–2010), and became widely known as Ratanjeet “Ratan” Sampooran Singh in Star Plus’s Ek Veer Ki Ardaas…Veera (2012–2015).

She has since worked steadily across historical, mythological and family drama, including Sher-e-Punjab: Maharaja Ranjit Singh (2017), Chandrashekhar (2018), Chandragupta Maurya (2018–2019) and Na Umra Ki Seema Ho (2022–2023). In 2021 she was a contestant on Bigg Boss Marathi season 3, finishing tenth after being evicted on day 63. She made her feature film appearance as Sushmita Das in The Taj Story (2025), and since January 2026 has played Vidya Bajpai Mahadev in Colors TV’s Mahadev & Sons. She married the Marathi actor Avishkar Darwhekar in 2007 and later divorced; a second marriage, to Anurag Solanki in 2015, ended in divorce in 2016.
