Super Deluxe Film Critique: The Skill of Weaving Distinct Bites

The motion picture contains four different tales that are somewhat connected and all of them explore very different elements of human life, society, and ethical implications:
Leela and Mugil’s Story:
The story is about Leela (Samantha Akkineni) and her husband Mugil (Fahadh Faasil). They get into serious trouble when Leela’s boyfriend dies while they are together. The movie shows their frantic efforts to hide the body and keep the secret. As they panic, the film reveals the harsh truths of their marriage, including betrayal and, eventually, forgiveness.
Shilpa’s Story:
Shilpa (Vijay Sethupathi) returns to her family after a long time, but her return is complicated because she has transitioned from a man to a woman. Her son, Rasukutty, struggles to accept this change. Meanwhile, her wife, Jothi (Gayathrie), faces social confusion and an unclear social position because of it. Shilpa herself must deal with the major challenge of balancing her family’s traditional views on gender with her own gender identity.
The Friends’ Story:
A group of teenage boys skip school to watch an adult movie. The story takes a big twist when one of the main actresses in the film turns out to be the mother of one of the boys (Vembu, played by Ramya Krishnan). This situation is used to explore the complex social issues around voyeurism (looking at images for entertainment) and how it affects family relationships.
Arputham’s Story:
The story centers on Arputham (Mysskin), a deeply religious fundamentalist. He strongly believes that God saved him from a tsunami. His extreme religious views cause major problems and friction within his family because he forces them to follow the same strict rules. The movie explores themes of faith, blind faith, and the destructive effects of religious intolerance on both the individual and the family.
The Super Deluxe Movie contains four stories that are different but connected in some way.
Leela and Mugil: A woman named Leela (Samantha Ruth Prabhu) is panicked when her ex-boyfriend suddenly dies in her house. She asks her husband, Mugil (Fahadh Faasil), for help in hiding the body. He reluctantly agrees, but only if they get a divorce afterward.
The Teenage Boys: A group of teenage boys skip school to watch an adult film called Mallu Uncut. They are shocked to discover that the actress in the movie is the mother of one of them. Furious, the boy tries to harm his mother but ends up hurting himself instead.
Shilpa’s Return: Shilpa (Vijay Sethupathi) returns home after a long absence and surprises everyone by announcing that she has transitioned and is now living as a woman.
Arputham the Priest: Arputham (Myshkin), a man who became a priest after claiming God saved him from a tsunami, has extreme religious beliefs. His faith is challenged when he faces a shocking, rude awakening.
