Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar Trailer: 6 Newcomers, Old Crushes

By AYC Editorial Desk 3 min read

Remember your school crush? Luv Films is betting you do. The Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar trailer dropped on the Luv Films YouTube channel on September 21, 2026. It’s a story about friendship and second chances, led by six actors you’ve never seen on the big screen.

No established star carrying the poster. Just fresh faces, Luv Ranjan’s banner and a release date that’s almost here: October 23, 2026, in theatres.

Risky? Sure. But that’s exactly why we’re curious.

What the Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar trailer shows

According to Pinkvilla, the trailer runs on sarcastic one-liners, quirky gags and plenty of friendly leg-pulling. Then it slows down for a few heartfelt moments. The humour stays candid and unfiltered. Basically, friends roasting each other, not glossy rom-com banter.

DPIFF’s write-up fits the same mood: friendship, romance, old crushes and second chances. It also hints at relationships that “may not be as straightforward as they first appear.”

Producer Luv Ranjan sums up the pitch himself. The film, he says, “is rooted in memories we all keep going back to – school, friendships, crushes and the people who made those years special.”

Nostalgia sells. If the jokes land in the hall like the trailer buzz suggests, the college crowd could adopt this one fast.

Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar cast and crew

All six leads make their big-screen debut here:

  • Sparsh Walia
  • Alisha Chopra
  • Kunal Vaid
  • Sakshi Vaidya
  • Tushar Chhibber
  • Sargun Kaur Luthra

Anuj Saini directs. Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg produce under Luv Films. Ranjan co-wrote the script with Jehan Handa and Saini, as per Bollywood Hungama. The film carries a U rating, so yes, you can bring the whole family.

None of the coverage names the characters yet. We won’t guess who plays whom.

The soundtrack might be the real hero

T-Series owns the music, and its official album page lists eight tracks. Rochak Kohli composed every single one. Check out the singer lineup:

  • Purane Din: Arijit Singh, with lyrics by Kumaar
  • Jaane Kis Mod Pe: Darshan Raval and Shreya Jain
  • Pyaar Manga Hai Tumhi Se: Jubin Nautiyal
  • Chaand Unplugged and Saale Dil: Aditya Rikhari
  • Kamaal (Rochak Kohli), Zulmi (Heer) and Chaand (Faheem Abdullah)

Quick myth-buster. Some posts credit Tanishk Bagchi or call Darshan Raval’s song the title track. The T-Series listing does neither. Kohli handles all eight, and Raval sings “Jaane Kis Mod Pe.”

Fun bit for music nerds: “Purane Din” reunites the team behind “Tera Yaar Hoon Main” from Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety.

Pehla Pyaar Doosri Baar story and release date

Bollywood Hungama describes the premise simply. A first love reconnects with a friend group, and things get romantically messy. Chaos follows, mostly the fun kind.

The film opens in theatres on October 23, 2026. That’s less than three weeks away.

Paisa vasool ya time waste? Too early to call. Still, six newcomers, an Arijit Singh number and a school-crush hook make a pitch we’d happily buy a ticket for. While you wait, see how the year’s big Hindi films have fared in our list of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2026 so far.
