Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Collection: ₹200 Cr and a Hit
Mirzapur The Movie box office collection is officially past ₹200 crore net in India. Pankaj Tripathi and Ali Fazal’s crime thriller crossed the line on Day 14. That day’s ₹4 crore, from 6,926 shows, took the tally to ₹203.45 crore, per Outlook India.
That’s big for any Bollywood film. For a 197-minute interquel spun out of an Amazon Prime Video series? Full bhaukaal.
One warning first: trackers disagree on this film, sometimes by ₹5 crore or more. All figures here are as of 18 September 2026.
Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Collection Crosses ₹200 Crore
The milestone landed on the film’s second Thursday. Day 14’s ₹4 crore was a 6.7% uptick over Day 13’s ₹3.75 crore. A weekday that grows in week two? The makers will take it.
Friday looks much quieter. Sacnilk’s live Day 15 estimate shows just ₹1.67 crore, and the site hadn’t locked it as of 9 PM IST. Overall occupancy on the third Friday hovered around 15%.
Mirzapur The Movie Box Office Collection Day-Wise: Day 1 to 15
Here’s the full Mirzapur The Movie box office collection, day by day, in India net. Days 1 to 13 come from Pinkvilla’s Day 13 report. Day 14 is Outlook India’s number, and Day 15 is Sacnilk’s live estimate.
Week 1: the opening rush
- Day 1 (Fri): ₹25.00 crore
- Day 2 (Sat): ₹31.50 crore
- Day 3 (Sun): ₹35.50 crore
- Day 4 (Mon): ₹16.00 crore
- Day 5 (Tue): ₹15.00 crore
- Day 6 (Wed): ₹12.00 crore
- Day 7 (Thu): ₹10.00 crore
Week 2 onwards: the slide
- Day 8 (Fri): ₹9.50 crore
- Day 9 (Sat): ₹13.25 crore
- Day 10 (Sun): ₹13.00 crore
- Day 11 (Mon): ₹5.25 crore
- Day 12 (Tue): ₹5.00 crore
- Day 13 (Wed): ₹3.75 crore
- Day 14 (Thu): ₹4.00 crore
- Day 15 (3rd Fri): ₹1.67 crore (live, early estimate)
That opening weekend was a monster: ₹92 crore in three days, with Sunday alone bringing in ₹35.50 crore. Monday’s ₹16 crore was less than half of Sunday’s. The second weekend bounced to around ₹13 crore a day, and weekdays since have stayed near ₹5 crore or lower.
Here’s the stat that matters. The trade’s week-wise split puts week one at ₹148.45 crore and week two at ₹55 crore. That’s a fall of roughly 63%, and it tells you more about where this run ends than any single day.
India Net vs Worldwide Gross, and Why No Two Trackers Agree
Mirzapur The Movie’s total collection, as of 18 September 2026:
- India net: ₹205.12 crore after 15 days (Sacnilk, Day 15 provisional)
- India gross: ₹244.36 crore (Sacnilk)
- Worldwide gross: ₹292.14 crore after 14 days (Outlook India)
- Estimated budget: ₹80–90 crore
Worldwide, the film sits less than ₹8 crore short of ₹300 crore. That’s the next headline to watch.
Now the messy bit. Pinkvilla had the film at ₹194.75 crore after Day 13. Add Day 14’s ₹4 crore and you’d land near ₹198.75 crore, not ₹203.45 crore. Wikipedia’s infobox shows ₹272.94 crore worldwide, about ₹19 crore below Outlook’s figure.
Even the weekly split wobbles. Pinkvilla’s Day 1 to 7 figures add up to ₹145 crore, a few crore under that ₹148.45 crore week-one number.

Is Mirzapur The Movie a Hit or a Flop?
Hit. No debate.
Koimoi handed it the Hit verdict on Day 10. By then the film had ₹189.67 crore net against a ₹90 crore budget. That’s a return of ₹99.67 crore, or about 110.74%. It also became Bollywood’s 4th Hit of 2026 on ROI, after Dhurandhar 2, Awarapan 2 and Hanuman Ansh.
That Day 10 total pushed it past Dhamaal 4 (₹177.92 crore) to become the year’s fifth-highest grosser. Next up was Bhooth Bangla at ₹199.23 crore. Sacnilk’s tally already clears that mark, but wait for Koimoi’s update before calling No. 4 official. The full race lives in our list of the highest-grossing Bollywood movies of 2026 so far.
Run Koimoi’s ROI formula on the Day 15 figure and the return passes 125%. That’s our rough maths across two trackers, so take it with a pinch of salt. Paisa vasool for the makers? Absolutely.
Can Mirzapur The Movie Cross ₹250 Crore?
Seedhi baat: don’t bet on it.
Pinkvilla projects the final Mirzapur The Movie box office collection at ₹230–240 crore nett. That estimate rests on how fast the weekdays are dropping. Day 14 brought ₹4 crore, and Day 15 opened at an early ₹1.67 crore. Closing a ₹45 crore gap from here needs a holiday or a freak third-weekend surge. Nothing in the data as of 18 September points to either.
The runtime doesn’t help. At 197 minutes, the film squeezes fewer shows into a day than a regular two-hour release. Reviews are decent: 80% positive on Rotten Tomatoes across 20 critics, with an average of 6.5/10. The performances get the praise, while several critics call out that length.
Could a big third weekend change our mind? With Friday at ₹1.67 crore, we doubt it.
Our Take: A Streaming Show Just Became a Theatre Hit
Mirzapur The Movie box office collection won’t set records, and with a runtime this long it was never going to. That’s fine. The real story is a streaming show turning into a proper theatrical hit inside ten days. Expect every OTT franchise with a loyal fanbase to start pitching its own movie now.
